Enjoying Disneyland in the rain!  Sure glad we had our hats, gloves & umbrellas with us! 

 These tulips were beautiful, loved the color!  They always have gorgeous flowerbeds at Disneyland.

We had dinner at Tortilla Joe's in Downtown Disney.  When we left it was getting dark & cold outside but there was a beautiful rainbow in the sky!

Tomorrow we will go over to CA Adventure, hoping for no rain!

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day!  Above is the Valentines Day card that I came up with.  I apologize for the picture, not a very good one of the card.  I ended up taking that picture late last night when I finished the cards.  Not exactly the card I had in mind but I had a short amount of time to make 13 cards so I simplified!  All of the images I used were from www.farfarhill.blogspot.com .  This site has so many beautiful images that you can download for free!  


Today was our Valentines Brunch at Bible Study.  We had a wonderful time.  Lots of yummy food, great fellowship & time spent in prayer.  We watched a video, "Tea With Michelle Duggar".  What an amazing lady!    


My hubby & I gave each other Valentines cards & we will go out to dinner tomorrow night.  My watch broke about 3 weeks ago & my hubby got me a new one so I told him that would be my Valentines present.  He always gives me flowers on Valentines Day but we are going down to Disneyland for a couple of days tomorrow so I wouldn't be able to enjoy them. I told him I would take a rain check! :-)  My sister gave me a wonderful bag of goodies today, a beautiful birds nest with a little birdie in it, some Avon goodies, beautiful heart embroidered towels & chocolate candies!  They were all in a lovely decorated box. I gave her an antique heart pin that I had found at a thrift store & a red wooden pot with tulips in it.  


Today has been a wonderful day but I am looking forward to getting away for a couple of days.  Tim & April are going with us to Disneyland tomorrow, can't wait!

Don't you love this cute Valentines postcard? It came from www.thegraphicsfairy.com.  I am so appreciative of the ladies around blogland that offer these beautiful images on their blogs!  It's been awhile since I played around with HTML codes & blog backgrounds so this blog is still a work in progress!  I need to add a header & some more pictures, I hope to get some time to work on those things soon.  

We are having a Valentines Brunch at Bible Study on Tuesday & I still have lots to do.  I still need to finish making Valentines cards & figure out what food I want to take.  I am thinking about making this Strawberry Fudge, it looks yummy & very easy to make.     

We had rain this evening, I love sitting inside my home listening to the rain fall outside.  Very soft, soothing sound.  We've had warm weather for awhile now so this is a welcome change!

Past my bedtime so I need to get to bed, have a wonderful Lord's Day!
